Lamekia Davis

Lamekia is a visionary wealth strategist, empowerment speaker, and elected to Rich Township High School D227 in 2023.

With over two decades of experience in leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies worldwide, Lamekia has been committed to guiding young people and women toward financial literacy and personal development. 

 

A passionate advocate for underserved communities, Lamekia founded the Heyy Girl Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial education and mentorship programs for disadvantaged and homeless youth. Her unwavering commitment to empowerment was recognized in 2022 when she was honored as the Unsung Heroine of Cook County’s 6th District.

 

Beyond her philanthropic work, Lamekia is a serial entrepreneur and global trailblazer, using her diverse leadership skills to inspire the next generation—particularly in marginalized communities—to embrace financial independence, entrepreneurship, and the power of giving back.

 

Lamekia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. She currently serves as a youth commissioner and is actively working to create lasting change in her community and beyond. Her dedication to fostering economic empowerment and social progress is a testament to her commitment to shaping a brighter future for all.

As the CEO and President of her businesses, she hopes to empower the younger generation, especially youthof color to give back, obtain wealth and explore entrepreneurship.  Lamekia is a wife and mother of two children Charles and Aubrey and is currently a Board Member of Rich Township High School District 227,  Vice Chair of the Park Forest Youth Commission and treasurer of Kiwanis Park Forest Chapter.  Growing up on the West Side of Chicago, she has always had a love and passion for youth and young adults.
